The Oak Room
The location of the scene which has Ally and Tyler meeting Charles for dinner, The Oak Room is a New York City landmark that is located in the Plaza Hotel. Established in 1907, it was initially a men’s only bar. It was closed for a brief period of time during the Prohibition period. It was then opened as a restaurant in 1934.
With views of Central Park South, it is a meeting place of the rich and powerful of New York City. The Oak Room features a fresh, seasonal menu designed by executive chef Eric Hara. The Oak Bar features a line of distinct cocktails.
